How would you describe your personal style?

Kind of rock ‘n’ roll!

How do you stay on top of industry trends?
Well, if you have to read about the trends, then you're too late. I get inspired by everything that's going on in life at the moment: skinny tie, fat tie...good economy, bad economy—and also from traveling a lot.

What is it like working with Heidi?
Amazing! She's my favorite! She's like a sister to me. We always have fun, laugh a lot, and share stories. She's smart and positive, and has a good eye.

Can you share your most memorable experience with Heidi?
It's hard to pick out a single experience, but what comes to mind are the annual anniversary parties with Heidi and Seal's family and friends. They are some of my best memories outside of work.

What is the single most important tip in hair care?
People always ask me what to put on their hair, but they forget where it starts—internally. I always recommend hair vitamins to make your hair strong, healthy and grow faster.

Are there any products you can’t live without?
Yes. Oribe's Volume Spray, Blowout Spray and Serum; and Bumble & Bumble's Brilliantine Cream.

What is the greatest challenge in hair styling?
Making sure every day is a Good Hair Day—no matter what the conditions are.

Who else’s work in your industry do you admire?
I've been fortunate to work with some of the masters in fashion photography. I have great admiration for them, and I often refer back to them for inspiration.

What surprises you most about your industry?
How diverse it is!

What is your ultimate career dream?
To have my own product line.
