Craft expert Shakuntala Zakheim shows us how to make unconventional stamps out of a potato--a fun activity to do with kids.
To start, it's important to have a really clean potato, says Shakuntala. Once its scrubbed properly, cut ¼ of the potato off using a sharp knife, then press a cookie cutter into the center of the potato and cut around it to make your desired shape.
To keep the potatoes from turning brown after you cut them, simply squeeze a lemon on top of them and they will stay white for several hours.
Now, it's time to start stamping!
