Ever have those hot-hot days where you are just sweating? Feeling like you need something chill to cool your off? Author and chef Candice Kumai shares her recipe for vino pops--popsicles made from red wine.

Sweet Red Wine Pops
Makes 10 popsicles

1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers, soaked in 1 cup hot water (optional)
1 cup ice, crushed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup elderflower cordial
1 cup Sweet Red Wine (I love anything that helps with budget! Like Woodbridge Sweet Red)

1. Soak the dried hibiscus flowers in hot water for 10 minutes to infuse the liquid.

2. In a food processor, combine the hibiscus flowers and liquid, ice, lemon juice, elderflower cordial and Woodridge Sweet Red Wine. Blend until smooth.

3. Pour mixture into individual popsicle molds, add stick, and freeze until solid, approximately 6 hours. Change this up with different juices, wines and frozen fruits!
